Pela primeira vez desde 2010, a UE aumentou as suas emissões de gases com efeito de estufa, e o grande culpado disso foi o setor rodoviário.
Os fabricantes automóveis até cumpriram a sua parte (continuando a diminuir as emissões por km), mas um uso ainda maior por parte dos automobilistas contrariou isso.

The EU’s total greenhouse gas emissions increased in 2015 for the first time since 2010. Higher emissions were caused mainly by increasing road transport, both passenger and freight (...)
